City of Columbia and Richland County, South Carolina

In December 2019, three senior representatives from the City of Columbia and Richland County, South Carolina visited the U.K. to assess the scope for a sister city deal in the U.K. The picture shows Richland County representative Paul Livingston in the Lord Mayor’s chair in the historic Liverpool Town Hall. To his right is business consultant Damon Jeter and to his left is Fred Monk, representing the Columbia World Affairs Council. The group met with a range of civic and business leaders and their interests in the U.K. have grown more active since Brexit.

When international travel restrictions permit, TSCS owner Jack Stopforth will visit South Carolina to address the Columbia World Affairs Council on the scope for U.K. - USA trade after Brexit.
